I was waiting outside my French class to “kill time“; as I was waiting out I saw an ambulance approaching a hospital/trauma centre located next to my french class. I got extremely curious! What could it be? Who was it? Was it a person familiar to me? What happened that an ambulance had to be called? How and why did it happen? Was it a trauma patient or a really sick person?
I have to admit I am a great fan of “Grey’s Anatomy.” 😀 After watching it for episodes after episodes; seasons after seasons I have become a great trauma fan even though I have no intention whatsoever to become a doctor.
I was so intrigued that I stood there itself and try and compare. Grey’s Anatomy VS Real Life! 😛
I thought it would be extremely similar and I just stood there to view it for real. But then came a bolt from the blue.
In Grey’s Anatomy the Trauma doctor or at least the internee is waiting outside. The ambulance driver hops out of his van opens the door, starts telling about his vitals and pulls out the patient and drags him in on the board to the hospital within a flash.
But in real life it didn’t happen quite so. The ambulance driver got down had a drink of water, then opened the door and while waiting for the doctor to come he was talking on his phone! The doctor was the last to come, he came looked told that it was a ligament tear and needs lots of stitches in the lower chin due to the slide on the vehicle and went inside. The nurses effort I should really appreciate! 🙂 They got the patient on the board, took him in and while taking him in started taking all the requisite vitals.
Now I pity all those who have to go to trauma if this is the case! 😥
CIAO ! 😀
